What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at JHR Solutions?
This is a full-time on-site role located in Moon, PA. The Logistics Coordinator (LC) will be responsible for all operational activities to support the "life cycle of a load", including, but not limited to, building customer rapport, quoting, order entry, carrier procurement as well as tracking and tracing with all customer updates done proactively.
This person is extremely organized, has a high motor and the ability to prioritize and knock down multiple tasks each day. The LC is essential to delivering a high level of service to our customers.

Scope of Responsibilities
- Support the Account Executive in managing day-to-day operations for their book of business
- Track and coordinate shipments from pickup to delivery, ensuring on-time performance
- Communicate proactively with carriers, drivers, and customers to resolve issues and prevent service disruptions
- Enter and maintain accurate load information, tracking updates, and documentation in the TMS/CRM
- Monitor shipments in transit and provide timely status updates to customers and the AE
- Troubleshoot delays, appointment issues, and other service disruptions in real time
- Assist with rate confirmations, carrier setup, and documentation for new and existing carriers
- Ensure all required paperwork (BOLs, PODs, invoices, etc.) is collected and processed accurately
- Build strong working relationships with carriers to support consistent capacity and reliable service
- Partner closely with the AE to help deliver a high level of service that supports account growth and retention
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Task management and prioritization
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects effectively
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry, preferred
- Proficiency with G-Suite/Microsoft Office is a bonus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in customer service is preferred
