We are a growing fuel company in the Southeast, and we are seeking a "well-rounded, hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves candidate to join us in our Dispatch Department. This position is responsible for all of our company's central dispatch operations. It includes daily coordination of dispatcher schedules. Ensures staff coverage 24 hours per day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Maintains working knowledge of federal, state, and local rules and regulations, including but not limited to, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and Department of Transportation (DOT); must be self-motivated, and be able to effectively work independently and in a team environment. This position requires 24/7 on-call availability and flexibility as needs may demand it. Experience in dispatching fuel haulers is preferred, and able to travel about 25% and some overnight stays.
- Supervise, assist, implement, and enforce adherence to Policies, Safety Standards, and Procedures, DOT, OSHA, and Local and Federal Rules.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure work procedures and policies are followed.
- Conduct field and office training for current or new employees.
- Ensure all necessary customer and delivery site information is collected and added to our database and is available for all dispatchers and management.
- Ensure that all loads dispatched to drives include the necessary and accurate loading and unloading information. Including but not limited to Suppliers, account number, pin number, address, gallons, tank sizes, brand, and any special instructions.
- Oversee the proper utilization of equipment, driving force Hours of Service (HOS), and full shifts.
- Communicate with potential customers or potential business partners and direct them to the proper channels if necessary.
- Identify root cause analysis in the event of an outage or any critical dispatch or customer event and complete the proper reporting in a timely manner to be addressed with management.
- Completes other duties as assigned by management.

- Experience dispatching Gas, Diesel, Bio-Diesel and/or Ethanol is required.
- Available 24/7
- Effectively communicate, written and orally.
