Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Sales Representative to promote and sell our animal nutrition and feed additive products across key regions including California, Texas, Idaho, and the Midwest. The ideal candidate will have a background in the feed industry, with knowledge of animal science or nutrition. This role involves direct engagement with premix companies, feed mills, feedlots, retail stores, and animal producers.
Candidates should be proactive, persuasive, and enthusiastic professionals with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by building and maintaining strong customer relationships to meet the assigned annual sales target.
- Introduce and present products to key decision-makers via meetings, seminars, on-farm visits, and industry events.
- Identify customer needs and match them with appropriate products and services.
- Ensure ongoing client support, including follow-up on product performance, trials, and service improvements.
- Collaborate with the division manager and business development team to tailor sales strategies.
- Gather and analyze competitors’ product information and current market trends to support strategic planning and product positioning.
- Support marketing initiatives and assist with customer service activities.
- Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, or related field; major in Ruminant Nutrition is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills; proactive and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel frequently for business (up to 70% travel required).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Required: 3 years of sales experience in the animal feed industry.

- Base salary: $60,000 – $90,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience with performance-based commission structure.
