Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate painting crews on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Prepare surfaces through sanding, plastering, caulking, and surface cleaning to meet project specifications.
- Apply paint using various techniques including hand tools, conventional spray equipment, and airless paint sprayers for optimal coverage.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute project plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by utilizing respiratory protection, proper handling of hazardous materials, and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Perform surface preparation tasks such as masonry work, stucco application, drywall finishing, and fixture installation as needed.
- Conduct quality inspections using visual color comparison and blueprint reading to ensure color accuracy and finish standards are met.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction painting including residential, commercial, industrial, and restoration projects.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for accurate measurements.
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and proper use of respiratory protection equipment.
- Ability to perform surface preparation tasks such as plastering, caulking, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, masonry, and concrete finishing.
- Knowledge of color theory for effective color matching and visual color comparison techniques.
- Experience with renovation projects involving remodeling work including fixture installation and handyman tasks.
