Heavy Equipment Shop / Field Mechanic

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide field and shop service support for various types of aerial, diesel equipment and machinery
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, including diagnostics, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and fuel systems.
• Operate aerial equipment, heavy equipment and power tools as needed to complete service tasks
• Maintain and stock assigned service truck in an organized and clean manner daily
  
  

- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions -

• Keep "Detailed" and accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed - Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate service schedules in an efficient and timely manner
• Educate customers on proper operating use of equipment when necessary
