Purpose of Job:
To perform sub-assembly and final assembly operations on component parts and units of all sizes and capacities for production.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:
Work near moving mechanical parts (exposure – 15% of work hours.)
Risk of electrical shock (exposure – 5% of work hours)
Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma/GED with 2 years industrial experience
Licenses/Certificates:
None
Experience:
Physical Demands:
Basic hand tools which includes screwdrivers, wrenches, ratches, etc.
Lifting of products. Must be able to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch

Purpose of Job:
To perform sub-assembly and final assembly operations on component parts and units of all sizes and capacities for production.
Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards:
- Strong work ethic
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly, neatly, while multi-tasking
- Performs minor maintenance of tools, and makes minor adjustments to equipment operated
- Participates and complies with all safety standards and training
- Operates forklift and other rigging equipment
- Assist in monitoring inventory and physical inventory counts when needed.
- Prepares valve assemblies and parts for testing, including driving studs, hand tapping, and general light assembly
- Assist test set-up
- Operates drill presses and hand grinders, and uses some mechanics; hand tools are required to assisting to correct balances and to remove excess metals.

- Experience in service of valves, valve automation, instrumentation a plus
- Ability to quickly learn technical product information
- Self-starter, able to take initiative and provide results independently
