Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Utilities/Electrical Project Manager for an exciting direct hire opportunity. Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale utilities and electrical infrastructure projects from planning through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Oversee permitting, regulatory compliance, and risk management for energy and critical infrastructure projects.
- Implement project management frameworks and enterprise scheduling tools to optimize project planning and execution.
- Drive sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across projects, maximizing lifecycle performance.
- Provide strategic guidance and high-level decision-making, collaborating with senior leadership and external partners.
- Monitor and report project performance metrics, ensuring data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in utilities, electrical, or infrastructure project management.
- Strong technical expertise in energy systems, including electricity, natural gas, and other critical infrastructure.
- Hydropower project experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including utilities, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and building/data center management systems (BMS/DCIM).
- Professional Engineering (PE) license highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills; able to thrive in fast-paced, evolving project environments.
