Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and drivers to deliver goods across designated routes.
• Load and unload packages using equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring secure handling of all cargo.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with recipients during deliveries.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining accurate delivery logs.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving to ensure safety for yourself and others.

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, with familiarity in route driving and heavy lifting tasks.
• Hands-on warehouse experience, including loading/unloading goods and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Demonstrated ability to handle manual transmission vehicles such as box trucks or drivers.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving cargo, and vehicle operation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
