What are the responsibilities and job description for the ECE Co-Teachers position at JewishAkron?
The Mandel ECE is an award-winning Early Childhood Enrichment Center located in Akron. We provide a comprehensive and enriching curriculum that nurtures our young children to grow, thrive, and develop all in a safe environment. We promote early learning through play, songs, sensory exploration and lanaguage-rich experiences. We are looking for full or part-time closers for the following positions:
Infant Teachers – attend to daily needs of infants (feeding, changing diapers) create & implement lesson plans, and develop routines.
Older Infant Teachers - supports developmental milestones (walking, talking and social interaction) through nurturing relationships and age-appropriate acitivties.
What you bring:
- Positive & professional attitude with a teamwork mindset
- Caring and nurturing demeanor toward children
- Open & welcoming communication skills with parents
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting
- CDA certificate (preferred but not required)
- CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse Awareness trainings
