Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Enrichment Specialist to join our collaborative team. This unique role offers the opportunity to guide and inspire young children (ages 1–5) through a variety of enrichment activities including art, clay, yoga, music, and potentially gardening.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead creative enrichment sessions for infants, toddlers and preschoolers
- Incorporate developmentally appropriate practices rooted in Montessori and Reggio philosophies
- Use artistic and sensory materials to support children's exploration and expression
- Foster a calm, engaging, and joyful atmosphere for learning
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and directors to integrate enrichment with classroom themes
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children ages 1–5 in a preschool or early childhood setting
- Strong background in the arts (visual arts, music, movement, or related fields)
- Passionate about creativity, expression, and holistic child development
- Familiarity with Montessori or Reggio Emilia philosophy (preferred but not required)
- Kind, patient, flexible, and excited to be part of a close-knit school community
