Accounts Payable Clerk

Position Overview:

Jewish National Fund seeks to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk to work out of the Rockville Centre Office (5 days, in office). This is a full-time position supporting the activities of the Accounts Payable Department.

Job responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the following:

• Processing check requests
• Processing employee expenses via the Concur platform
• Researching and analyzing statements/accounts
• Following-up on e-mail or calls to vendors
• Reviewing daily batches including adjustments and corrections
• Assisting with weekly check run
• Assisting with the yearly audit
• Any other duties that may be assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Excellent computer skills and administrative skills, particularly in the area of data entry
• Good command of the written English language
• Accurate and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills are also required.

Compensation:

$45,000- $50,000

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role.

And yes, we also support tree planting. Since 1901, we have helped plant over 260 million trees in Israel, which enabled the country to be one of the few to enter the 21st century with a net gain in trees.
