Food Service Supervisor

Pay Range: $18.00-$22.00 (Pay information will vary depending upon relevant experience for the position)

Full Time 40 Hours- 12pm-8pm includes every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays

GENERAL SCOPE: Supervises all areas of Dining Service, including unit kitchens, as well as cafeteria and Leo’s deli. Monitors employee behaviors / performance. Teaches skills, documents employee issues and works in a team environment.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION: High School Diploma/equivalent. Two (2) years work-related experience in food service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Oversees areas where food is prepared/served to include: employee cafeteria, deli, unit dining rooms and kitchens and areas where catering functions are served.
• Expedites food delivery areas for accuracy.
• Oversees accurate production of all food items being served each day.
• Trains, motivates and disciplines employees as needed.
• Ensures overall employee safety through the implementation of JHR safety policies andProcedures. Follows established JHR safety regulations at all times and reports any unsafe conditions.
• All other job duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in this or equivalent role.
