We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Building Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience using cleaning equipment, a strong commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards, and experience with various building maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the building.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other tools.
- Test and adjust pool chemicals to ensure water quality meets health and safety standards.
- Perform regular inspections of the facility and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain and troubleshoot basic audio/video systems.
- Lift up to 50 lbs independently as part of your daily tasks.
- Work on your feet for most of the shift, maintaining a high level of mobility and activity.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with cleaning equipment and building maintenance preferred.
- Experience with testing and adjusting pool chemicals is a plus.
- Knowledge or experience with audio/video systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
- Work on your feet for most of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) is preferred to communicate effectively with a diverse team and building occupants.
- Must have reliable transportation to commute to work.
- Must be able to pass a background check
Schedule:
- Wednesday & Thursday: 3:30pm - Midnight
- Friday: 1:30pm - 10:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Sunday: 12:30pm - 8:00pm
