Assistant Clinical Director

Salary: $80,000-$85,000

POSITION SUMMARY:
Jewish Family Services of Greenwich is hiring a motivated Assistant Clinical Director for the Bennett Center for Behavioral Health Outpatient Program. This role involves supervising contract and staff clinicians, as well as clinical interns, assisting with program development, and managing satellite office operations. The Assistant Clinical Director will also support onboarding and training, lead supervision groups, and oversee initiatives like SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). Responsibilities include providing comprehensive orientation on intakes, SOAP notes, risk assessment, and ethical concerns specific to the center’s client population.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain caseload of clients (12 client sessions per week).
· Organize and facilitate group supervision/rounds for the associate level licensees and clinical interns bi-weekly.
· Be available to offer individual support and supervision to assigned supervisees.
· Find and Implement trainings/grand rounds to clinicians on an ongoing basis.
· Oversee the appropriate and timely documentation of all case notes for supervisee’s clients.
· Develop professional relationships with local community partners, school social workers, and outpatient providers.
· Work in conjunction with Clinical Director and Chief Program Officer to expand BCBH into other community sites and locations including, but not limited to, additional community schools and school districts, YMCA branches, and community centers.
· Assists the clinical director in supervising the intakes and scheduling of clients and mental health providers.
· Ability to respond in real time to unexpected client and supervisee needs and questions.
· Any additional duties the CEO and CPO deem appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Fully Licensed in the state of CT as Professional Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
• 2-4 Years of supervisory and management experience including clinical supervision of staff
• A motivated individual who works well with others independently and is passionate about clinical services and program expansion.
• Have experience and understanding of the CT mental health system, including mandated reporting, referral procedures to higher levels of treatment, and determining appropriate treatment resources and interventions.
