Data Analyst (Specialist)
Join the JFS team and help turn data into meaningful insights that drive program performance, improve outcomes, and support smarter decision-making across the agency. As part of JFS Results, you’ll work closely with programs and leadership to track performance, strengthen data practices, and support key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and report on program, client, and operational data
- Track and support key performance indicators (KPIs), outputs, and outcomes
- Assist with program evaluation and customer feedback initiatives
- Pull and synthesize data from systems such as Oracle Cerner, HMIS, and internal tools
- Respond to data requests and identify trends to support program improvement
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting processes
- Partner with staff to improve data collection and reporting practices
- Support reporting and workflow improvements using tools like Power BI and SharePoint
- Communicate data findings clearly to staff and leadership
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience in data analysis or reporting, preferably in healthcare, nonprofit, or social services
- Experience with Oracle Cerner or a similar EHR system required
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning)
- Experience with SharePoint design and functionality required
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau preferred
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate effectively
- Valid driver’s license required
