What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiscal Operations Coordinator position at Jewish Family & Children's Service of Greater Boston?
Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS) is home to Schechter Holocaust Services (SHS), Greater Boston’s only program providing Holocaust survivors – the majority of whom are Russian-speaking – with vital services such as homecare, food and medicine. These and other services seek to ensure that victims of Nazi persecution can age with dignity while maintaining meaningful connections with one another and with the Jewish community.
JF&CS is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented Fiscal Operations Coordinator to join our passionate team. Working in partnership with the Program Director and the Case Managers, the person in this position will perform key administrative and fiscal duties to ensure strict compliance with funder regulations and procedures. This involves working closely with the Program Director and the JF&CS Fiscal department to monitor spending, reconcile grant compliance, and serve as the primary liaison to homecare agencies. This position reports to the SHS Program Director.
This is a high-volume, detail-intensive role focused on accurate, time-sensitive processing and compliance— ideal for someone who thrives in structured work and takes pride in getting the details right every time.
