Job Summary:
Provides mental health counseling services to children and facilitates groups within the Torah Academy of Jacksonville and the Martin J Gottleib Day School
Experience: 2 years experience counseling children and families.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Licensed in the State of Florida - LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT or eligible for licensure in the state of Florida.
Primary Job Functions:
- Provide counseling services to individuals, children, couples, families.
- Conduct workshops and provide training to parents, teachers, and children.
- Provide professional case consultation to professionals involved in client's case.
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision and frequent chart reviews.
- Maintain an electronic calendar of scheduled appointments
- Refer clients to appropriate community resources and organizations.
- Facilitate groups and counseling within the school
- Attend weekly staff meeting and one-on-one supervision weekly.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Periodic Job Functions:
- Attend professional training.
- Complete trainings as required by agency
