What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Art Teacher (1st–5th Grade) position at Jewish Community Day School of RI?
JCDSRI is a progressive Jewish day school (Preschool–5th Grade) where creativity, relationships, and joyful learning are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a Part-Time Art Teacher to work with students from 1st through 5th Grade. You do not need to be Jewish to apply; we welcome educators of all backgrounds.
The Role
- Teach art classes to upper grades (1st-5th Grade)
- 45 minutes per class
- Minimum time commitment: approximately 7–10 hours per week, including paid planning time (Tuesdays and Wednesdays preferred)
