What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse - Early Childhood position at Jewish Community Center?
The Sari Isdaner Early Childhood Center, located at the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill, is an award winning and leading provider of early childhood education in South Jersey for over 50 years. We are committed to building a strong community connecting parents, teachers, and children.
We are seeking a Nurse five days a week 5 hours per day.
Job Responsibilities:
- Check universal health records and make sure up-to-date
- Check vaccines and flag updates needed
- Assess students in real time for fever or other ailments
- Administer treatment related to ailment if applicable
- Determine student next steps when brought to for an evaluation- return to class, go to doctor, get sent home
- Call home for student pick-up
- Call home for incident reports
- Administer nebulizer treatments and other meds
- Participate in Professional Development
Required Education & Experience:
- Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey, preferably at least one year
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Excel and Word
