Do you have a knack for turning playtime into the best part of a kid’s day? The J-Zone & Tot Spot Drop-In Childcare Team at the JCC is looking for energetic, caring, and creative superstars to make magic happen for our youngest members!
What’s the gig?
You’ll be the hero who keeps kids safe, happy, and engaged while their parents enjoy everything the JCC has to offer. From cuddling babies to leading games for big kids (up to 12 years), you’ll create a warm, fun, and educational environment every single day.
Your mission (should you choose to accept it):
- Be the ultimate play leader—think crafts, games, and giggles galore!
- Keep kids safe and smiling (and yes, sometimes help with jackets and diapers).
- Team up with other awesome staff to make every day amazing.
- Communicate with parents like a pro—because happy parents = happy kids.
- Maintain a clean, healthy, and positive space for all.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with kids? Awesome! Love for kids? A must!
- Organized, upbeat, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
- Excellent customer service and communications skills.
- Flexible schedule (evenings and weekends included).
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to the organization .
- Ability to lift or move children up to 50 lbs.
