Position Summary:

JCC Denver is looking for an enthusiastic and high-energy Zumba Instructor to lead fun, music-driven dance fitness classes that inspire movement and joy. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a community-centered environment and is passionate about helping people improve their health through dance and rhythm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging Zumba classes that combine Latin and international music with dance moves.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants of all ages and fitness levels.
• Provide modifications and encouragement to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Promote class participation and build a sense of community among attendees.
• Maintain a clean and safe studio space and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Collaborate with the Fitness team to support wellness initiatives and special events.
• Represent JCC Denver’s values of inclusivity, energy, and community wellness.

Qualifications:

• Current Zumba Instructor License (Zumba Basic 1 required; additional specialties a plus).
• CPR/AED certification (required).
• Experience teaching group fitness or dance classes preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.
• Ability to adapt choreography for different fitness levels and abilities.
• Passion for music, movement, and community engagement.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lead high-energy dance fitness classes.
• Must be able to stand, move, and demonstrate choreography for extended periods.

Schedule:

• Classes may be scheduled during mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Opportunities for subbing and leading special events or themed classes.
