What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist position at Jewett Orthopedic Institute Surgery Center?
1) High School diploma or GED/Associate Degree Preferred
2) Radiology Technician certification required.
3) 2 years experience working as a radiology technician.
4) Must be able to accept direction and leadership from the OR and Procedure Nurse, the Surgeon, and Anesthesia Personnel.
5) Ability to cooperate with and assist ancillary staff.
6) Must be extremely methodical, diligent, and organized; aware of aseptic technique; observe and report to other team members in the case.
7) Communicate effectively with all surgical team members.
8) Basic knowledge and understanding of out-patient surgical procedures to assist the Physician during the case.
9) Knowledge of C-ARM and anatomy.
