We are seeking Operating room Registered Nurses with experience and passion in Orthopedics to help launch a new Orthopedics and Spine Specialty Surgery Center. The center has 24 Pre-op and PACU bays, 3 Procedure rooms and 12 Operating Rooms. A Unique opportunity to be part of the inaugural team in this highly esteemed Ambulatory Surgery Center. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and compassionate team, and will be expected to provide orthopedic patients with perioperative care, pain medicine and provide ambulatory surgery center services. The successful candidate for this position will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as experience in working with surgical teams. We are seeking people who are flexible and love working as a team.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' progress and communicate treatment plans to the hospital team.
- Prepare OR equipment for surgical cases, strong commitment to maintain Sterile OR
- Circulates OR cases for all types of orthopedic surgery, documents accurate surgical account
- Maintain equipment and work area
- Prepare patients for surgery, Committed to excellent patient care and customer service
- Knowledgeable of Regulatory and Safety requirements for safe surgery
