Position Summary and Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Relations Associate, you will assist customers with inquiries related to the company’s products and services. You will maintain adequate company and product knowledge to provide proficient service. You will focus on maintaining positive customer relationships for the company. This is an office based position.
Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Communicating with customers in-person, over the phone or via email to address questions or concerns regarding company products and services.
- Maintaining an updated knowledge of the company’s products, services and customer service policies.
- Listening to customers’ concerns and handling complaints and returns where applicable.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction levels including establishing and maintaining good rapport with customers by using positive language and anticipating their needs.
- Maintaining daily schedule for healthcare transportation trips including routing and re-routing in real time to accommodate any changes.
- Communicating to customers about any changes in their medical appointment trips.
- Communicating with external relevant stakeholders such as hospitals and medical facilities where applicable.
- Maintaining a clean work and office environment on a regular basis.
- Helping with training new recruits.
- Helping with billing responsibilities as dictated by need.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the company.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- University /college degree is an asset but not a requirement.
- 2 years of previous customer relations experience with a healthcare transportation company a plus.
- Friendly and welcoming manner with customers and other team members of the customer service team. An outgoing, friendly, compassionate personality is an added advantage.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, simple manner to customers.
- Good data entry skills.
- Ability to maintain a calm and polite manner in stressful situations.
- Willingness to cooperate with customers and management to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Experience
One year working in a customer relations position would be an added advantage but not a requirement.
