Description

About the Opportunity

CAZA Collective is partnering with an established luxury jewelry company seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join its operations team in Great Neck, New York.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep operations running seamlessly while handling high-value fine jewelry with exceptional care and precision. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, accountability, and teamwork are essential.

As an integral member of the Operations team, you'll help ensure inventory is accurately tracked, organized, and prepared to support retailers, cruise partners, trade shows, trunk shows, and other key business initiatives.

About The Role

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through hands-on inventory management, product handling, reconciliation, and system updates. This individual will work closely with Operations, Shipping, Merchandising, and Customer Support to ensure fine jewelry inventory is properly received, tracked, organized, and prepared for distribution.

Success in this role requires someone who enjoys balancing physical inventory work with administrative accuracy while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull, verify, count, organize, and stage fine jewelry inventory.
  • Process inventory movements including receiving, transfers, replenishments, repairs, returns, and exchanges.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the company's inventory management system.
  • Verify style numbers, product descriptions, quantities, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Prepare jewelry inventory for shipments supporting retailers, trade shows, trunk shows, cruise programs, and special events.
  • Maintain organized inventory storage areas while following established security and inventory control procedures.
  • Collaborate with Shipping, Logistics, Merchandising, Sales Support, and Operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and shipment readiness.
  • Identify, communicate, and help resolve inventory discrepancies and product issues.
  • Support continuous improvements in inventory organization and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, jewelry operations, or similar inventory-focused roles.
  • Experience handling high-value merchandise with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience using inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to perform hands-on inventory work throughout the day, including pulling, organizing, counting, scanning, staging, and packing inventory.
  • Previous experience within fine jewelry, luxury goods, wholesale, or retail environments is strongly preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate enjoys creating order, solving inventory challenges, and ensuring every detail is accurate. They understand the importance of protecting high-value merchandise while maintaining efficiency and supporting a collaborative team environment.

They are dependable, process-oriented, and take pride in delivering consistently accurate work. They know that every piece of jewelry matters and appreciate the important role inventory accuracy plays in the overall customer experience.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience ($45,760 – $58,240) annually.
  • 20 days of Paid Time Off annually, including vacation, sick time, holidays, and personal days (accrued following the introductory probationary period).

Working Environment

  • Onsite position based in Great Neck, New York.
  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
  • Family-owned, high-performance organization where teamwork, accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement are highly valued.

Why This Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a respected luxury jewelry company with a reputation for quality, craftsmanship, and operational excellence.

You'll work alongside a collaborative team supporting the movement of exceptional fine jewelry while playing a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy across the business. If you're looking for a stable, long-term opportunity where your organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability will have a meaningful impact, we'd like to hear from you.
