What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Warehouse Clerk position at Jewel Osco?
Primary Job Functions:
- Bomb and release all routed store orders within the EXE System in sequential order
- Utilize the EXE System to manually place all waved orders in Pick Manager, allowing selection to begin
- Per the work-load on a shift, set-up the shipping dock via the PINC Yard Management System
- Net Invoice completed assignments in EXE, ensuring the stores are billed for items shipped and correct quantities are listed for all pallet types in EXE
- Create chase (shorted product) assignments in Pick Manager
- Maintains file for daily loading and production records
- Assist in the resolution of problem pallets in Twilight Zone
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in groups
- Good organizational skills
- Aptitude for math and working with figures is necessary
- Familiarity with EXE, Pick Manager, PINC Systems
- Strong computer skills
- Must have history of good attendance
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
- Incumbent may be required to lift up to 30 lbs. infrequently during the day
Working Conditions:
- Some work is performed under general office conditions in a temperature controlled environment. Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer.
- During part of the workday the incumbent will be moving about the Distribution Center warehouse floor, including up and down stairs multiple times and potential hazards exist in regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc.
- Possible exposure to common household cleaning products (i.e. cleaning materials, ammonia, bleach etc.).
Pay Transparency:
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay*, PTO/Vacation pay*, paid holidays*, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, subject to Company bonus plans. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis.
- For roles in Washington State: Sick pay and PTO/Vacation pay are accrued based on hours worked and paid holidays are issued at 7-9 days annually.
