Jewel Apple Frozen is seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead our sanitation team and maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
* Supervise, train, and coordinate sanitation personnel.
* Oversee daily cleaning and sanitation of equipment, production areas, and the facility.
* Verify sanitation effectiveness through inspections and pre-operational checks.
* Identify and correct sanitation deficiencies, including residue buildup and mold growth.
* Maintain accurate sanitation records and ensure compliance with GMPs, SSOPs, and food safety requirements.
* Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance to resolve sanitation issues.
Qualifications
* Previous sanitation experience required.
* Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
* Food processing or manufacturing experience preferred.
* Knowledge of sanitation procedures, cleaning chemicals, and food safety practices.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a frozen food processing environment and support operational needs.
