What are the responsibilities and job description for the Math Tutor position at Jettprep?
Jettprep has been helping students succeed for more than 25 years, and we’re excited to expand our team! We are centrally located in Morganville, NJ, and open Monday–Thursday from 4:30–9:30 pm and on select Saturdays.
About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Math Tutor to provide one-on-one support for students in math through calculus and standardized test prep. This is an on-site position at our learning center.
What You’ll Do
- Work one-on-one with high school students to build confidence and skills in math
- Support students with math through calculus and standardized test preparation
- Personalize sessions to meet each student’s unique needs and learning style
- Assist with homework and upcoming assignments
- Track progress and share feedback with students and parents
What We’re Looking For
- Prior math tutoring or teaching experience (required)
- Strong proficiency in high school math (AP and Honors preferred)
- Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week
- Excellent communication skills with students and create engaging sessions
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students grow

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
