Role Description
JETTIE RAE'S OYSTER HOUSE is seeking a dedicated Food Runner for a full-time, on-site position in Asheville, NC. The Food Runner will ensure the swift and accurate delivery of food orders to guests while maintaining exceptional customer service. This role requires ensuring dishes are presented correctly, coordinating with kitchen staff, and assisting servers to provide an excellent guest experience. Maintaining cleanliness and organizational standards in the dining and service areas will also be key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Expeditor, with the ability to manage the flow of food orders from the kitchen to customers effectively
- Strong Communication skills to liaise between kitchen staff and servers efficiently
- Customer Service expertise to provide a warm, attentive experience for all guests
- Experience in Food Service or Food & Beverage operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus under pressure
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards in food presentation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
