General needs of the company

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, optimize, validate and build electric harnesses.
• Support engineering with the rapid iteration of electronic components and harnesses.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure manufacturability of electric harness assemblies.
• Develop detailed work instructions, tooling, harnessing form boards and testers, and quality control plans for electric harness assembly.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Work with suppliers to resolve technical challenges and improve component reliability, ensuring product meets safety and quality standards.
• Provide engineering support for the assembly and testing of PCBAs, batteries, and related electronic components.
• Maintain detailed documentation, work instructions, and process validation reports.
• Partner with design, quality, and supply chain teams to support production and ensure seamless transitions from prototype to full scale production.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy.
• Proficient with electrical wiring and vehicle harness manufacturing including soldering and rework techniques.
• 2 years of mechanical, electrical, and/or PCBA experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of materials used in harness and PCBA manufacturing, including wire types, connectors, crimping, epoxies, PCB design considerations and electrical components.
• Electronics assembly and prototype development experience.
• Mechanical/electrical assembly of PCB assemblies and electrical harnesses into product chassis.
• Experience setting up and running tests and experiments.
• Ability to read, interpret and work from drawings, schematics, assembly procedures and work instructions.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be willing to travel supporting team efforts during shows, fairs, and supporting customers.
• Must have a valid non-commercial Class C driving license.
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States and willing to work onsite at Jetson HQ California.
