Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with various types of vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmissions.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary
- Execute route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices
- Experience operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics and inventory management
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients during deliveries
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required
