General Manager - Restaurant

We are looking for a General Manager to oversee operations and workers during scheduled shifts. Some responsibilities include but are not limited to managing cash, resolving conflicts and checking equipment, Following Daily Cleaning procedures.

Daily Preparation of product and making Pizza and other menu items Per Jets Pizza Standards. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively, keeping all Customers happy and resolving any issues that may arise.

We are looking for Someone that would like to be Mentored/ Apprenticed to become a part owner or Developed to Become an Owner/Franchise Owner. Someone that wants to grow personally and with the company for Great Food and Great Service.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
• Ability to Coach and Mentor up and Coming Staff
• Schedule employee shifts and assign duties
• Manage and handle last-minute absences
• Train and coach new employees
• Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management
• Inventory Management
• Labor Cost Control / Efficiency
• Check cash drawers
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed
• Address customer and employee complaints
• Resolve conflicts between workers
• Foster and maintain a positive work environment
• Follow procedures and protocol for food preparation
• Competence to multi Task
• Follow Cleaning schedule strictly
• Understand the different cleaning products and expectations
• Ability to create training exercises and coaching sessions
• Covering shift in emergencies or ability to coordinate

Skills

• Proven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant managerial role
• Knowledge of the industry and relevant health and safety regulations
• Commitment to excellent service
• Working well within a team
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast
• Strong problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to stand for long periods
• High school diploma is preferred
• Follows guidelines for Portioning and accuracy
• Process Improvement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
