Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients according to recipes and safety guidelines
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety throughout all stages of meal preparation
- Support inventory management by stocking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated newcomers
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation or cooking are advantageous
