What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mixing/Compounder position at Jetpack Shipping?
Job Summary
The mixer is responsible for ensuring the food safety program is followed and works to combine ingredients to create nutritional supplements based on preset formulas. Your duties include sourcing materials, weighing each element, batching correctly, and ensuring the proper ratios in the final product.
Responsibilities
- Pour raw materials into tank
- Measure raw materials
- Monitor mixing process
- Test/quality assurance of tank materials
- Cleaning all equipment , tanks, and vessels as needed.
- Observe and follow safety procedures and S.O.P’s set by the company.
- Transfer finished product into drums, and totes to complete orders.
- Weigh ingredients for batching.
- Make sure all ingredients returned to inventory have weights and are cleaned.
- Set up and monitor all mixing tanks, vessels, and mixers.
- Obtain and understand all documentation for batching products.
- Operate all equipment including tanks, mixers, scales, meters, pump, etc.
- Complete all paperwork and batch documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicate with production when batches are complete and ready to fill.
- Other duties as assigned

- Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 75 pounds.
