Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Associate to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in both inside and outside sales, manage key accounts, and contribute to business development efforts across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a customer-focused approach, and experience with CRM software and territory management. As a vital part of our sales organization, you will play a key role in expanding our market presence through proactive outreach, product demonstrations, and strategic account management.

Duties

  • Develop and execute outside sales strategies to generate new leads and expand existing client relationships
  • Manage territory sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and direct sales efforts
  • Conduct product demos to prospective clients, highlighting features and benefits tailored to their needs
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional customer service and ongoing account management
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage contacts, and analyze sales data
  • Engage in cold calling campaigns to identify potential clients and open new sales opportunities
  • Upsell additional products or services to existing customers to maximize revenue
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns targeting B2B sales opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Participate in territory management activities, including planning visits and scheduling meetings with clients

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management with a strong understanding of business development strategies
  • Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for lead tracking and analysis
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Effective communication skills for product demos, presentations, and negotiations
  • Ability to conduct cold calls confidently and generate new leads through proactive outreach
  • Knowledge of marketing techniques related to sales growth and lead generation
  • Experience in technology or product-specific sales is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data for strategic decision-making
  • Adaptability in managing multiple accounts and territories simultaneously
  • Previous experience in retail or technical sales is advantageous
