Position Purpose: To safely transport cargo between specified locations, maintaining compliance and readiness for multi-day trips, while facing various environmental conditions.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 23.
- 1 1/2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Proficiency in English and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT Physical.
- Can lift up to 50lbs.
- Hazmat endorsement & TWIC card required.
- Familiarity with FMCSR load securement rules.
- Reliable transportation to work.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods while driving.
- Capable of climbing in and out of the truck and on/off an open deck trailer safely.
- Competent in tarping loads and stowing tarps.
- Engage in reaching, pulling, and pushing activities associated with securing, loading, and unloading cargo.
- Work in various weather conditions during loading and unloading processes.
