Position Summary
The Specialist JBU Uniforms Store Crewmember supports uniform store operations and acts as a representative of the JetBlue Uniform Program. This person is an effective communicator, organized, detail orientated with strong customer service skills, and focused on providing a great experience to our internal customers. This Crewmember understands the importance of prioritization, and is also well versed at diffusing challenging interactions.
Essential Responsibilities
Welcome customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
Operate a point of sale system
Monitor, and perform inventory tasks
Assist uniform eligible Crewmembers or Business Partners with selection, fit and measurement
Support New Hire uniforms orders, and exchanges to be completed as expeditiously as possible
Complete Uniform store administrative tasks, including but not limited to, data entry, troubleshooting, returns and exchanges among other related tasks
Monitor reports received from our Business Partner to ensure information is accurate
Support with protecting the integrity of our Brand as it relates to the uniform program
Merchandise and maintain inventory in attractive and functional displays and manage store inventory to minimize stock outs
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
One (1) years professional experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel & Word
Excellent Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions independently
Excellent customer service skills
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
SAP Experience
Experience in apparel and apparel fitting and measuring
Retail experience
Inventory Management experience (inventory stocking, cycle counts, etc.)
Crewmember Expectations:
Regular attendance and punctuality
Available for occasional overnight travel (up to 25%)
Able to work flexible hours and be available for an emergency response on short notice
Well-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
