Job Overview
We are seeking a mechanically adaptive individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in multiple aspects of operation of facilities by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must have weekend availability.
Must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on, equipment, vehicles, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Assist with staff and supervisor requests as needed.
- ensure the safety and maintenance of the sites allocated.
- Ensure Mission continuity by performing tasks as snow removal and deicing during winter months.
- perform tasks such as material relocation on site.
- Assist with fleet and equipment maintenance as needed.
- Perform Grounds Maintenance as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in electrical systems maintenance and repair, with strong mechanical and plumbing knowledge.
- Experience in facilities maintenance with the ability to perform repair tasks as needed.
- Strong communication skills with the capability to notify management of issues and work to provide resolution.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Familiarity with various hand tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
