Position: Inside Crew Member
Reports To: Store Manager / Assistant Manager
Location: Jet's Pizza – Keego Harbor
Position Summary
The Inside Crew Member is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, preparing high-quality Jet's Pizza products, and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient store environment. This role is essential to delivering an excellent guest experience and supporting smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone.
- Take accurate orders using the POS system.
- Answer menu questions, make recommendations, and resolve basic customer concerns.
- Ensure orders are complete, properly packaged, and delivered to customers promptly.
Food Preparation
- Prepare dough, cheese, toppings, and sauces according to Jet's Pizza specifications.
- Make pizzas, salads, breads, and other menu items accurately and consistently.
- Follow all recipe guidelines and portion controls.
- Ensure food quality meets brand standards every time.
Store Operations
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment throughout the shift.
- Wash dishes, clean equipment, and complete assigned side-work.
- Assist with stocking and rotating inventory.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper food handling and equipment operation.
- Help teammates during rush periods to ensure fast service and order accuracy.
Cash Handling
- Process payments accurately (cash, credit, coupons, online orders).
- Maintain proper cash drawer procedures when assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum age: 16–18 depending on state and store policy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule Requirements
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and peak times.
- Ability to work between 15–35 hours per week depending on store needs.
