INVENTORY ASSOCIATE

Location: Long Beach, CA

Job Type: Full-Time, Non‑Exempt

Schedule: Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation: Starting at $16.90 per hour

Job Summary

The Inventory Associate supports the Inventory Manager in maintaining accurate, compliant, and organized cannabis inventory across all Jet Room facilities. This role assists with intake, labeling, storage, cycle counts, METRC data entry, and back‑of‑house operations. The Inventory Associate ensures all product movement is documented according to state regulations and internal SOPs, contributing to audit readiness and operational efficiency.

Inventory Operations & Compliance

• Assist with receiving, intake, labeling, and storage of cannabis products.
• Support METRC data entry and track‑and‑trace compliance tasks.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical inventory records.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
• Assist with discrepancy investigations and variance reporting.
• Follow all cannabis compliance, safety, and security protocols.

Back‑of‑House Organization & Product Movement

• Maintain clean, organized storage and inventory areas.
• Support product transfers, packaging, and replenishment.
• Assist with preparing products for sales floor restocking.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation at all times.

Cross‑Department Support

• Collaborate with Sales, Dispatch, and Delivery teams on product movement.
• Assist with inventory‑related tasks during audits and inspections.
• Communicate inventory issues or needs to the Inventory Manager promptly.

Inventory Manager

Working Conditions

• Back‑of‑house retail and warehouse‑style environment.
• Regular use of computers, scanners, METRC, POS systems, and office equipment.
• Flex schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and lift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely move and organize product.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must pass all required background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cannabis inventory or METRC experience.
• Experience in retail, warehouse, or stockroom operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
