What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salon Assistant position at Jet Rhys Hair Salon?
Seeking highly motivated, hard working assistants looking to advance their skill in specialized training and also helping assist the salon in its everyday duties. We are an advanced training salon that specializes in Color or Cut. Our education is unlike any other, we seek to train the best stylist and colorist that you can possibly be by our very own master colorists and stylists. If you are seeking to improve your skills, we are the salon for you!
Job Duties include but not limited to:
-Greeting Clients, Checking clients in and getting them prepared for their service.
-Prepare the client for their service (tint tray, H/L tray, extensions, yuko, haircut, etc)
-Make sure clients have everything they need (tea, water, magazines, eye glass
covers)
-Shampoo cut and color clients efficiently
-Blow dry clients correctly, quickly, and thoroughly
-Sweep hair, clean used stations, wipe and put away products, clean brushes
-Keep Salon clean and orderly
-Launder gowns and towels
-Help the front desk team
-Doing whatever you can to help the salon run efficiently and professionally
-Maintain high standards at all times
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma
- California State Cosmetology License
