Role Description
This is a PRN, with potential full time status, on-site role for a Flight Paramedic located in Tampa, FL. The Flight Paramedic will provide advanced medical care to patients during air transportation, ensure thorough pre-flight preparation of medical equipment, and manage patient treatments, assessments, and reports. The position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team, maintaining compliance with operational protocols and aviation safety standards, and being prepared to adapt to diverse clinical situations.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in advanced life support techniques, patient assessment, and emergency medical care
- Ventilator experience
- Experience with pre-flight medical equipment preparation and diligent adherence to safety protocols
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills in high-stress environments
- Ability and readiness to work in fluctuating schedules, including extended hours and international travel
- Current paramedic certification/licensure and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, DOT approved Flight Physiology/Advanced Airway course
- Prior air medical transport experience and knowledge of aviation procedures are preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and organizational skills
