Marketing Specialist
Jet Direct Mortgage is a rapidly growing direct lender located on the vibrant Downtown Bay Shore strip. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic marketing assistant with an understanding of basic marketing principles and a solid foundation in design who is looking to grow, learn, and build on that foundation in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
The marketing assistant will work under the Director of Marketing on a wide variety of projects across multiple media such as print, web, social media, email marketing and more. This is a perfect opportunity for the right, talented candidate looking to grow and develop their professional skill set.
Duties include:
- Carrying out production of marketing material for Jet Direct Mortgage as a corporate entity as well as assist our growing sales team with their individual marketing endeavors.
- Assisting in all aspects of marketing, including but not limited to: ensuring website and marketing materials are up to date and accurate.
- Assist in planning and implementing marketing & sponsorship activities in coordination with staff, sales team, and executive management.
- Keeping accurate inventory of trade show assets and promotional material.
- Post content to social media sites
- Maintain and update lists and distribution
- Additional tasks will be assigned depending upon assessment of candidate’s strengths & interests.
Applicant should be detail oriented with solid design ability and a willingness to learn. Individual will be working within Jet Direct brand specifications to preserve corporate identity, maintain consistency in company image & voice, as well as adhere to banking department and financial agency compliance guidelines.
Job requires independent thinker who reliably recognizes problems as they arise and enjoys creating effective solutions, someone who appreciates the role of each small detail in the effective delivery of the big picture.
Required:
- A solid understanding of layout and design principles and clean design aesthetic.
- A portfolio of work to demonstrate ability and design style.
- Ability to multitask requests from multiple administrators.
