What you’ll do
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Manage patient records through Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and maintaining an aseptic environment to promote safety.
- Take dental X-rays and perform medical imaging, ensuring accurate diagnostics while adhering to safety protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, fostering a positive experience in our clinic.
- Support the front desk as needed by performing dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation.
- Monitor vital signs and assist with chairside procedures in various specialties such as general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatrics.
- Utilize advanced tools like 3D scanners to enhance treatment outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.
Basic qualifications
- Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is essential for effective communication within the team.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Dentrix or Eaglesoft software for managing patient records is a plus.
- Understanding of medical coding and documentation practices will enhance your contributions to our team.
- Prefer someone who can lift and carry up to 55lbs.
