The Kind Of Work You'll Be Doing
- Collect, evaluate, and organize information for all funded projects, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely distribution to relevant JFP departments, teams, and/or donors.
- Track all phases of a project's life cycle-from initiation and funding to implementation, reporting, and follow-up-ensuring timely updates and complete documentation.
- Share current field ministry updates with teammates and development representatives, collaborating frequently with ministry leaders and global partners to report on donor-funded initiatives.
- Build and maintain effective communication and working relationships with key Cru personnel, JFP staff, and global partners, ensuring a clear understanding of ministry operations and reporting requirements for assigned projects.
- Provide training and guidance to Partner Engagement, Core Teams, other JFP departments, and field ministry leaders on post-project reporting standards, using methods such as training sessions, email communication, and one-on-one conversations.
- Conduct interviews with field staff and ministry partners to gather results from JFP-funded projects and/or translations.
- Research and compile supplemental stories, images, and statistics in collaboration with the Donor Reporting team and other JFP content teams to effectively communicate project impact to donors.
- Apply and uphold Crisis Management and Geography app confidentiality standards by identifying sensitive content, overseeing confidentiality approvals through Partner Engagement, and advising JFP content teams and leaders on proper implementation. Address questions and provide training as needed on specific confidentiality-related cases.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required, preferably in journalism, communications, or intercultural studies.
- 3 Years of experience (preferred but not required), preferably in missions or intercultural communication.
- Experience in fund development or marketing is a plus or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
