What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Secretary position at Jesup Elementary?
Jesup Community School is looking for a secretary for our Elementary school. This secretary is responsible for 3yr old Pre school - 4th grade. There are also 3 rural schools that fall within the Elementary school responsibilities. At present this is around 470 students. They will manage the student information system for those grades which includes enrollment, fees, attendance and some state reporting items. They manage the individual records/files for each student ensuring accuracy, detailed and confidential information is stored properly. They are a main point of communication with parents, the community, teachers and staff. Some of the other duties include ordering supplies, filling sub posiitons, receiving and routing phone calls and visitors, and maintaining door security.
