Who are we looking for? We are looking for a Youth Pastor ! The ideal candidate must:
- Be in love with Jesus- Jesus comes first in everything
- Be gifted at ministering to students and families
- Be passionate about sharing the Gospel, outreach and discipleship
- Be organized - We are grateful to have many dedicated leaders and about 100 students Elementary through High School age, serving and attending Wednesday evening ministries.
As a Youth Pastor, you will be….
- Coming alongside our current ministry teams in order to provide leadership and support to our youth programs that meet on Wednesday evening
- Developing and executing a plan to connect students and their parents to church life by providing fellowship opportunities, discipleship classes, and other growth opportunities
- Assisting and being an active participant at JBF’s community outreach efforts
- Shepherding the hearts of children, youth and families at JBF
Qualifications
- Proven experience in youth ministry or related roles involving mentoring, teaching, or social work.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young people through positive engagement.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with youth, parents, volunteers, and church leadership.
- Ability to plan engaging events and activities that resonate with diverse youth populations.
- Demonstrated capacity for working with children in various settings while maintaining a safe environment.
- Passion for mentoring young people through faith-based guidance and social-emotional support. Join us in making a lasting impact on the lives of young individuals by fostering their spiritual growth and empowering them to lead purposeful lives rooted in faith!
Pay: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
