Role Description
The Maternal Health Nurse Jesuit Volunteer serves alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic health assessments, education, and intervention for pregnant women and newborns. The goal of this program is to maximize opportunities for health birth outcomes and services for vulnerable residents. The Maternal Health Nurse will participate actively in case conference with other team members to address the comprehensive needs of clients and develop reputable relationships with healthcare and social service professionals, while servicing their clients. The Maternal Health nurse will also develop health education programs focused towards homeless YNHS clients.

Required and Preferred Skills
- Active RN license with interest in maternal health, obstetrics, or neonatal care
- Basic Life Support
- Bachelor's Degree
- A Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to learn maternal child health
