What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guestmaster position at Jesuit Retreat Center?
The Jesuit Retreat Center, located in Parma, OH, has an opening for a guestmaster. This is an on-site position which is primarily a “ministry of presence”. The role involves evening and weekend supervision of the facility, in the absence of other staff. The primary responsibility is to provide a dependable presence on-site, welcoming guests and being available to respond to any retreatant after-hours needs or emergencies. There are some light housekeeping and administrative tasks involved. The position is shared with two other guestmasters who alternate evening and weekend hours.
The Jesuit Retreat Center is the longest continuously operating retreat center in the United States. Each year we welcome more than 5,000 individuals to the center.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. A fliexible and outgoing personality, able to deal with a variety of tasks.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
