Key Responsibilities
The Superintendent will:
- Collaborate with families, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Manage district operations, budgets, and organizational systems effectively.
- Oversee and enhance safety programs and features.
- Promote the district’s mission, vision, and values at all levels.
- Lead with transparency, professionalism, and ethical integrity in all decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Arkansas Superintendent License (or eligibility to obtain upon hire).
- Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of assessment, curriculum, instruction, and educational strategies to enhance student achievement.
- Proven experience with school district budget preparation and management.
- Leadership experience involving personnel, finances, and general operations.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of Arkansas statutes, including FOIA, with the ability to uphold Board policies and procedures in a professional and ethical manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Record of success in recruiting, retaining, and developing talented staff.
- Experience in strategic planning and community engagement.
- Demonstrated success as a Superintendent, Principal, or comparable educational leader.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
